For those children whose playground is the street and on whom life has often been hard, winning this underground sports competition is the uttermost trophy.

After the success of the first World Cup, street football is widely renowned around the world. Tag and his friends are overflowed with emails from teams overseas that wish they had participated in the tournament. The organization of new competitions is to be expected, but this time though, Tag's newly reformed team - the Blues - will have to compete to qualify, and play against even more skilled adversaries, each with their very own street football strengths and weaknesses.

In each episode, our heroes face new opponents in reckless matches, and brave the hardships of life. With their tenacity and mutual aid, the Street Football players always triumph over their hard luck.
